Is it me?
I'm not affluent enough to buy the gathering sound "collection", I don't see it as a must have. I have every James cd, original material, I don't see the need for a gimmick. What I want is new material. If this collection ever gets produced, then what? Is that it? If you produce something like that, is there an opportunity to produce something new, or because it took so much effort like that to produce and get to the finish line, does that mean the end?
Let's face it, it's a bit shit to produce a complete jame all material 100 notes investment and then 6 months later produce a new album, that's not on it! Have I missed the point, genuinely can someone enlighten me. |

| I think it's just the USB stick that's causing the delay. I haven't ordered but it has stuff I haven't heard. A new album after sounds a good idea. |

| Well I thought the last two albums were absolutely brilliant so it would be a shame if they didn't do any more. Hopefully there are still many more James classics waiting to be written. |

| A new album is what would excite me the most as well. I haven't bought the box set yet, but probably will when I see the best deal available. As a long time fan, I'm convinced 'Hey Ma' is their best record. Can't wait to hear more new songs... |

Chill! No one is obliging you to buy, it so what's your beef? James are no different to any other band. Since the bottom fell out of the CD market they need to extract every last bit of dough they can squeeze out of their fans to survive, and if there's a market out there for it then of course they are going to cash in.
Since it won't be your money that's helping them to keep going you can afford to relax and wallow in the knowledge you'll be able to afford their next collection of new material that they've told us they're currently working on. |
