We’ve made all the files available via DJ Mag, and you have until 29 August to submit your mix. You’ve free rein – any style you want.

The band’s favourite will be released on 12″ vinyl along with the original version, as the official single release.

Tim and Jim spent an hour with Berlin’s FluxFM recently, talking about musical influences and playing songs they love or admire.

November will see the band return to Portugal for two shows of their own – playing the veritable enormodome that is MEO Arena in Lisbon on 29 November (capacity about 20K), preceded by the slightly cosier Multiusos de Guimarães on the 28th.

Sorry to say that due to being stranded for a time at Porto airport, the band missed their slot on the Obelisk Stage at Latitude today, so the performance has been moved to 12 noon tomorrow on the 6 Music stage – please spread the word!

Festival organiser Melvin Benn had this to say to local publication EADT24: “We have been trying to work out all day if we could get them in today. They had a flight to LA tomorrow but that has been put back to tomorrow evening [to accommodate tomorrow’s gig]; we have been so keen for them to play. They will play on the BBC 6Music stage tomorrow at noon. It’s just fantastic that they wanted to play, we want them here.”

CD and digital are definites – we’re hoping for vinyl too but not yet sure if that will come together. There’s a chance we may have a US web shop with bundles, so you may wish to keep your pre-order options open till we have more info for you. But mark the date in your diary!
