Tune in to BBC Radio 6 Music with Steve Lamacq TODAY from 4pm to hear the first play of brand new song Love Make A Fool! This is taken from the upcoming orchestral album Be Opened By The Wonderful and is the only entirely new song on the album.

You can listen live from anywhere in the world, and the show will be archived shortly after the live broadcast so you can catch up if you miss it.

With the orchestral tour kicking off at Brighton Dome tonight, how about a sneak peek at the ‘Lasted’ merch in the official store! The Lasted collection will be available on the merch stall throughout the tour, or you can pre-order online now to receive from 26th May.

The tour sold out in a flash but it appears a few restricted view seats for Brighton have now been released, as well as a few good seats at the Royal Albert Hall — via the venue box offices direct (RAH | Brighton Dome) — worth a look if you missed out on the day.

For the lucky souls who secured tickets, we’ve added the opportunity to add a Soundcheck VIP upgrade to your ticket if you fancy coming along early for a special experience behind the scenes. The band are thrilled to be performing at the historical Odeon of Herodes Atticus on the slopes of the Acropolis in Athens on 10th July – accompanied by the Orca22 orchestra and Manchester Inspirational Voices choir, arranged and conducted by Joe Duddell.

Followed by a full band show (not orchestral) at Moni Lazariston in Thessaloniki on Wednesday 12th July.

Tickets for Thessaloniki go on general sale at 10am (BST) on Friday 7th April and Athens on Monday 10th August at 10am (BST), links on the live page.

THREE new dates for your summer diary. The band have confirmed they’ll play Jersey Weekender at the Royal Jersey Showground in Trinity, on Sunday 3rd September. You can sign up on the event’s website weekender.je for their early access sale which starts this Friday. General sale starts on Sunday 2nd April.

And delighted to announce a headline show at The Civic at The Halls, Wolverhampton, on Tuesday 20th June. Tickets on general sale this Friday at 9.30am, visit the live page for links.

“Life begins at 40. For our midlife euphoria we recorded a double orchestral album of some of our deepest cuts,” says Tim.

Be Opened By The Wonderful is a 20-track CD (19 on vinyl) of some of our most loved and rare tracks, re-imagined with orchestra and choir. Arranged and conducted by Joe Duddell, the album was recorded at Blueprint Studios in Manchester last year with ORCA22 and Manchester Inspirational Voices.

It’s due for release on 9th June and includes one brand new track, Love Make A Fool.
