James have been nominated for Best Live Return at the Vodafone Live Music Awards on September 18th (to be broadcast on Channel 4). Other acts in the category are Led Zeppelin, Spice Girls and The Verve. You can vote online at www.vodafonemusic.co.uk.

We can confirm that support on the Autumn tour of North America will come from UK-based Unkle Bob. The band, managed by Saul Davies and Aaron Moore, will join James throughout the whole of their three-week tour. Visit the band’s MySpace for more information and music streams.

The band will begin their tour on September 15th in Boston, MA, just one day before the US release of Hey Ma, their first album in 7 years. They are already receiving a welcoming review from the press including Billboard who announced “Veteran U.K. rock act James has inked a U.S. deal with Decca Records for the release of its first new album in seven years. “Hey Ma” will be released Sept. 16 and will be supported by as-yet-unannounced North American tour dates.”
