US release for Girl At The End Of The World confirmed

New single ‘Nothing But Love’ premieres on Radio 2
4th February 2016
The first proper single from the album, entitled Nothing But Love, will be premiered on Chris Evan’s Breakfast Show on Radio 2, Friday morning between 6:30-9:30am.
Tim says of the track, “Love songs tend to tread such a well-worn path that I avoid them unless I have something new to say or I’m so blinded by emotion I can’t help myself. It’s about love’s euphoria and ecstasy – that love-bomb that goes off and changes everything. But love is a high stakes game, as something you love can also be lost.”
The song will also be unlocked for free download for those who’ve pre-ordered the album from the James shop or iTunes.
Album launch shows for Manchester and London
4th February 2016
You are cordially invited to join us for two very special and intimate shows next month, as the band preview tracks from the new album live for the very first time.
James play a hometown gig at Manchester’s Academy 2 on Wednesday 17th February, then head south to the Scala in London on Thursday 18th.
Glennie says, “We finally get to play the Manchester Academy 2, or MDH (Main Debating Hall) as it used to be known. This venue played such a huge part in my musical education. Seeing Human League, Pere Ubu, Gang Of Four, The Fall and so many more in such a cool little venue.
“We’ve never played the Scala either. It seems to have a great history and reputation. Debuting the new album will be scary but should be fun.”
Tickets on general sale from 10am on Friday 5th Feb, and both standard and V.I.P. Soundcheck tickets for both gigs will be available from the James shop. A limited number of regular tickets for Manchester will also be available through Ticketline.
