James head home to Manchester for HMV instore on album launch day
21st May 2014
Pleased to reveal the band are heading home to Manchester to launch album number 13 amongst friends old and new – playing a short set and signing copies of the new album at HMV on Monday 2 June.
Come and celebrate the release with us!
The performance starts at 5:30pm and capacity is only 200, so come down early to secure your place. The signing takes place afterwards. No wristbands for this, just come along and get a copy of La Petite Mort in plenty of time to queue up for the show. They’ll have both the CD and the beautiful heavyweight double vinyl LP in store…
The following day you can catch them down south, doing the same at Rough Trade East in London. This one you can book in advance by pre-ordering their album/ticket bundle to collect along with a wristband in store on 3 June prior to the 7pm start. Please read the terms and instructions on their site carefully and contact them if needed for clarification. They will also set approximately 1/2 the wristbands aside for customers who purchase the album in store from 2 June, so even once the bundles in their web shop have sold out you’ll have a chance to secure one in person if you’re quick enough.

First trip to Norway confirmed
28th April 2014
The band are delighted to be making a first trip to Norway this summer, to play at Bergenfest in the city of Bergen on 13 June. The town, we are told, is one of the rainiest in Europe and also very beautiful.
The open air shows take place in a medieval fortress and castle located in the city’s historic centre. The line up is interesting and varied – other acts playing over the 5 day event include Blondie, Franz Ferdinand, Robert Plant, Wild Beasts, Lana Del Ray, Simple Minds, and ZZ Top!
There are both Day Tickets and Full Event Tickets available and they’re on sale now.
